The Toniebox comes with a Creative Tonie, which you can record on. There are also Character Tonies that play specific stories or song collections. You can buy these separately.
When you put a Tonie on the Toniebox, it will download the story directly onto the box using a magic key. Once it's done downloading, the story will begin immediately, and you can listen to it anywhere without needing Wi-Fi.
