This deck includes Genesect V, a shiny foil card that can help you draw cards until you have as many cards in your hand as there are Fusion Strike Pokémon in play, thanks to its powerful Fusion Strike System ability. Genesect V can also deal 210 damage with its Techno Blast attack with three Energy cards (but it cannot attack the next turn). You can use the special Fusion Strike Energy instead of other Energy types for Fusion Strike Pokémon.
Most times in Pokémon TCG battles, you'll use Mew VMAX to perform the Techno Blast attack. With Mew VMAX's Cross Fusion Strike attack, you can choose one of your other Fusion Strike Pokémon's attacks and use it as Mew VMAX's attack. It's easy to chain Techno Blast attacks from Genesect V when Mew VMAX has free retreat, which means swapping it with another Pokémon in the Active Spot is straightforward.
