The Toniebox is a neat gadget that makes listening to stories and music interactive and fun without the need for screens or complicated buttons. It comes with little figurines called Tonies that are roughly 7cm tall and when you place them on the Toniebox, they start playing stories, songs or facts.
However, please note that you need a Tonie Box to use the Tonies and this is sold separately. You can buy it online on Giddy Goat Toys' website.
One of the Tonie stories that you can get is called "The Highway Rat". It's about a mischievous rat who loves stealing food from others. He thinks he's the king of the road and can take whatever he wants.
This Tonie features four tracks. The first one is the story itself. The second one is the "Highway Rat" song, which is super catchy and fun to sing along to. The third track is a listening game where you can test your memory skills by answering questions about the story. And finally, you get the instrumental version of the "Highway Rat" song.
In total, the Tonie will play for around 21 minutes and the voiceover artist is Imelda Staunton.
