In the 1950s, in New York City, there was a serious problem. The owner of a boxing club named Joe Dunn was found dead. At the same time, a famous boxer named Bobby Yale, who was about to have his biggest fight, went missing in a strange way. Joe's daughter, Sonia, took over the gym and hired a private detective called John Blacksad to find Yale. This case was very scary and would take John to the darkest and saddest parts of the city.
The characters in the story are animals who act like people, which is very interesting. As the player, you get to help John solve the mystery by searching for clues, solving puzzles, making quick choices and influencing the way the story ends.
There are more than 30 characters in the game, each with their own story to tell. The world created for the game is very realistic, and the music is excellent and reminds you of classic detective movies.
