CHAOS;CHILD is a new visual novel, made by the same people who created Steins; Gate. It's set in Shibuya, a city in Japan, in the year 2015. Six years before, the city was almost destroyed by an earthquake. Now, strange things are happening. People are being killed in bizarre ways, and a group of high school students who survived the earthquake are at the centre of it all.
You play as Takuru, who is the president of the school newspaper. He's very confident, and he's the first one to notice a pattern in the strange deaths. He and his friends decide to investigate, even though it's dangerous and the police can't solve the mystery.
As you play the game, you get to make choices that affect what happens. You can explore Takuru's nightmares or daydreams, which can change the story in different ways. There are six different endings to discover, depending on the choices you make.
The game has beautiful artwork, and it's part of the Science Adventure series. Even though it's a new story with new characters, it's connected to the Steins; Gate universe.
