In Endless Space 2, you become the leader of a group of clever creatures in a brand new galaxy. As you explore, you find old ruins left behind by an ancient civilization called the Endless. Inside these ruins, you find a special thing called Dust that can do amazing things. It can shape itself into whatever you think of, it can create things that you dream of and it's so powerful that it wiped out the Endless civilization.
Dust is the most valuable thing in the galaxy, and everyone wants it! You'll need to make decisions about how to use it and how to protect it. You'll encounter many other creatures in the galaxy, and you'll need to choose how to treat them. Will you be friendly, aggressive, or something in between? You'll need to make lots of choices that will affect your population, the people that you lead.
Sometimes, war will be your only option, and in Endless Space 2, battles are exciting and fun to watch. You'll need to design your spaceships, come up with battle strategies, and make all kinds of choices that will impact the way the battles go.
You can win the game in six different ways, and it all depends on how you decide to play. When you're ready, you can even play with up to seven other people. You can create alliances and strive to be the ultimate leader of the galaxy!
To make the game even more exciting, there's a novella called "The Last Flight of the Gray Owl" that tells the story of a special spaceship, tying together all three Endless Space games. There's even an exclusive poster of the Endless Space 2 Academy that comes with the game!
