Science of Skin is an award- winning range of specialist skincare treatments formulated by consultant plastic surgeon Douglas McGeorge MBE, using his extensive expertise in scar and skin health to develop clinically and scientifically proven products that deliver visible results. Our range of products are formulated with naturally active ingredients, including epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a powerful phytochemical found in green tea. EGCG helps to reduce redness, reduce inflammation and to soothe the skin and support skin repair, visibly improving the appearance of scars and blemishes.
Returns policy You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. To exercise this right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by sending an email to orders@scienceofskin.com within the 14-day period commencing the day after you received the product. To return the product please complete the returns note that you will find with the dispatch note, which you will receive when the product is delivered to you. The product you return must be unopened and in its original packaging, unless you are claiming that it is defective or damaged. The product must be returned to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 30 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this order to us. We strongly advise that all returns are sent via a method of recorded delivery in order to ensure safe receipt. We cannot be held responsible for any undelivered items. If the product is not defective, the price of the product returned will be refunded to you in full. You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods. If the product is defective in any way, we will offer you an exchange or refund and pay the cost of the delivery and return charges. When we receive the returned product we will make the reimbursement to you without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after we receive the product back from you. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. If within the 30-day period commencing the day after you received the product you have not notified us of cancellation of order or that a product is defective in accordance with these terms, then you shall have no right to return the product thereafter.
UK Shipping: Please note that due to volume of orders online we can occasionally experience delays with dispatch – please contact us on the chat function if you have any questions about ordering. Standard Shipping: We ship within the mainland UK for £3.75 on our standard delivery option (usually within 2–4 working days) tracked via a courier. Please make reasonable allowance for orders placed on the weekends or public holidays. Mainland UK deliveries also have the option to choose Next Day Delivery Service for £5.00. Next Day Delivery: Next Day Delivery is available and your product will be delivered the next working day for an additional cost of £5.00. In order to ensure next day delivery please make sure you order before 3.30pm. Orders made after that time cannot be guaranteed to be delivered the next day; orders made on weekends or bank holidays will be sent out on the next working day. Unfortunately this service is not available in Northern Ireland, Highlands or Channel Islands. Please note orders made for Next Day Delivery on a Friday will be delivered the next working day – Monday (not Saturday), If Monday is also is a bank holiday your order will be delivered the next working day after the bank holiday.
